Pokemon Normal Version is a Pokemon ROM that was developed/Created by FrozenInfernoZX (Original Creator) The current version of the ROM is ‘Build 3.0 RC 2.73 Live Update’ which is based on Pokemon FireRed. The ROM was last updated on ‘July 26, 2016’ and the new version is yet to be rolled out.

Introduction

A famous and well-liked Professor Oak has told everyone on TV that he’s coming to visit the Taejo region. People in Taejo are really happy about this, except for a man named Javyer Quau. Professor Oak is planning to move to Brighton Town, which is on the western edge of Taejo and next to the untouched Seijo region. Javyer and his 19-year-old son, Zaquar, are looking forward to Professor Oak’s arrival, and they can’t wait to meet him.

Plot

Pokémon Normal Version presents a unique concept, revolving around the theory of continental drift and its connection to the legendary Pokémon Regigigas, hence the title “Normal Version.” In this game, you’ll encounter a twist in the capture of Regigigas, where it will appear in its fan-made “Sky Forme,” adding an intriguing element to the legendary hunt.

As for your starter Pokémon, you’ll kick off your journey with an Eevee. Professor Oak is researching the diversity of Normal-type Pokémon, particularly their ability to learn elemental attacks like Ice Beam, Volt Bolt, and Flamethrower, all within one moveset. Eevee is given to you to aid in this research.

The game will feature a custom-made Region Dex, including Pokémon from various regions. As you progress through the story, you’ll unlock an “Extended” Dex with even more species to discover. The adventure unfolds in the Taejo and Seijo regions, with nods to a historic region called Uiyto. The region names are inspired by the similarities between Kanto and Johto, your favorite regions, with names that share common elements.

Additionally, players will have the opportunity to engage in battles with your counterparts “Frozen” (a user of Ice and Steel types) and “Inferno” (a user of Fire and Rock types), both deeply involved in the storyline. Frozen aims to bring about an “Ice Age” to wipe out life forms on the planet, while Inferno seeks to create a new landmass for his “New World.” A third counterpart is hinted at, shrouded in mystery, adding an extra layer of intrigue to the game.
